Del Mar | 92014
Del Mar is an affluent coastal community with sprawling beaches, sophisticated boutiques, and world class dining. It is also the location of the world famous Del Mar Racetrack which hosts the Del Mar Races, The San Diego County Fair, and several other show all year long such as Cirque Du Soleil. In the village of Del Mar you will find The Del Mar Plaza which is home to both high end and casual dining, clothing and gift boutiques, and Harvest Ranch Market. L'Auberge Hotel offers a chic local for a sunset drink as does Jake's and Poseidon which are restaurants down on the water. Another local favorite is the Del Mar Dog Beach, where you and your furry friend can enjoy a sun filled day at the beach with other pups! Tom (my husband) and I got married at the Powerhouse Park in Del Mar in 2002.
Additional Information - Del Mar is two square miles along the Northern San Diego County coast, best known for its beaches, fairgrounds and the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club "Where the turf meets the surf."
