PURPLE PRIDE

Updated: Aug 31

“There is no passion to be found playing small—in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.” – Nelson Mandela

The next couple of weeks will be strong with real estate activity as families come back in town from vacations, the back-to-school chaos starts to calm down, and college drop-off concludes.

We will see more showings on listings as clients settle back into their routines and all the summer fun begins to wind down. Tom and I launched our oldest child off to college this week at TCU in Texas; nothing really can prepare you for this. You spend 18 years guiding the journey, teaching them to think big, follow their passions, and then poof...off they go!

In 1897, TCU's first yearbook was named The Horned Frog—after the small but fierce lizard that was embraced as the school mascot. Students chose school colors: “Purple for royalty, white for a clean game" and the University officially became Texas Christian University in 1902. Looking forward to watching some great sports games this fall and showcasing some of the exciting new listings that we have coming soon!
