Kurtney Noonan
THANKSgiving

Holiday traditions are in full swing in the Noonan household as I finalize the Thanksgiving table design and all of my side dishes. We keep the menu very traditional over here per Tom's request as his favorite quote is "I only get stuffing once a year and you're trying to replace it with a seafood tower"! No tower this year, but, I may sneak in some crab legs when he's not looking!
The stack of magazines at my feet reminds me that I need to buy my amaryllis and paperwhites so they can be in full bloom for all of the Christmas festivities as well as offering me endless inspiration for the upcoming holiday season with hostess gift ideas, locations for the tree lighting ceremonies, tea party locations around town, specialty cocktail ideas for our holiday happy hours, cookie decorating parties for the kids, and so many festive events to enjoy around town.
This will be a fun and busy week ahead for party planning, creating fabulous dishes for Thanksgiving, and doing our research for Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Giving Tuesday. This is a time dedicated to giving thanks and I couldn’t be more thankful for the many blessings of family, friends, colleagues, and clients that make life better every day. I can’t wait to watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving parade, have everyone go around the table at dinner and say what they are thankful for, have the kids fight over the wishbone to break for a wish, and of course watch all the guys lounge on the couch in a food coma and watch football for most of the day. If you’re still looking for a unique and yummy way to cap off your fabulous Thanksgiving feast take a peek at the recipes in my next blog post for some great dessert ideas...
From our family to yours, HAPPY THANKSGIVING and cheers to a fabulous weekend!
