Wisdom may be the most potent home-buying demographic of all. While theoretically, we are often tempted to believe otherwise and focus attention on Millenials,it is the more mature demographic with paid-down mortgages, investments in equity markets, compounded interest savings, sales of companies built over decades, and inheritance that are fueling the current real estate market.

Baby boomers - people born from 1946 to 1964 - now makeup around 39% of home buyers – the most of any generation – an increase from 29% in 2021.
Generation Z now makes up 4% of buyers, with 30% of Gen Z moving directly from a family member's home into homeownership.
It is often those at an age where 'fun money' is more readily available and because of age, there is a greater sense of urgency to move on with enjoyment..... the recent buyer of Paul Allen's mega-mansion in the South of France is 75 years old.
