May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.” – Irish Blessing

This past week has felt a bit like Ireland with all the uncharacteristic rain we have had; the good news is it has made everything so beautiful and green. The headlines were filled with details about Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank’s collapses and how the wealthy are moving their cash out of smaller banks into higher-yielding treasuries and money markets. $2 billion per day has been moved into Schwab and other custodial accounts while relationship banking with smaller banks is being questioned.
